Typesetting
We offer professional typesetting from word processed files, and can scan [OCR] paper copy if required. We take instructions from copy edit on hard copy, PDFs, or any other way you wish. Chapter PDF files are supplied for proofing.
We can produce both cost-effective straight text and highly formatted and designed material, and also give advice on style and formats. We can also redraw line illustrations, and give page layout advice if required.
Using all industry standard software [principally Quark Xpress Passport and Pagemaker] and a huge library of fonts, photographs and graphics to suit any project, we can cope with any job no matter how complex. All formats are catered for, both PC and Mac.
Final output is high-resolution PDF files, now standard for printers, both litho and digital, which can be supplied on CD or FTPd to the printer's FTP site. If necessary, we liaise with the printer at this stage to resolve any aspects of concern, ensuring that the finished job is as you expect.
Digital print can be arranged and ordered to your instructions.
Password Publishing has a strict environmental code; everything used is recycled at the end of its life from the obvious paper, to light bulbs, ink catridges and CDs. We use 100% recycled paper, and run everything on 100% renewable energy from Good Energy We avoid using more paper than necessary by doing everything electronically throughout the publishing process from word processor files to PDFs.
